| BioAkltiv Liquid Manure
product consist of oxygenised calcium which when mixed with
water and introduced into the slurry/manure in the stalls, sty,
basin/tank or lagoon reacts immediately with the aerobic
bacteria reducing the ammonia emission ( odour) and breaks down
solids.
The volume of the slurry/manure is
reduced and it becomes fluid with the minimum amount of
stirring. As a result of the reduction of anaerobic
bacteria, odour is reduced. The treatment of the slurry also
prevents the burning effect on of crops when applied to
land. |

Reaction of the slurry within days
Final fluid slurry
Application
For liquid manure pits and solid manure
Dissolve 1 - 1.5 kg BioAktiv in 1,000 l fresh water per 100 m³
of liquid manure and inject into lower third of the pit
For dissolving solid manure , dissolve 1 - 1.5 kg BioAktiv in
200 l fresh water per100 m³ of solid manure and spray over the
manure
The out come is:
|
homogenous Liquid Manure |
dissolves sediment and swimming layers |
|
reduces ammonia |
requires less stirring |
|
reduces odour nuisance |
provide healthier atmosphere - reduced ammonia |
|
prevent scorching on crops when applied to land |
|
Reduction in Slurry odour Improved flow of slurry
Reduce stirring in slurry lagoons/tanks
For use in
reducing odour and improving flow in animal housing
For piglets, fattening pigs, sows -
use 2-3gr per animal per week mixed with water
for cattle steers - use 4 -5 gr per
animal per week mixed with water.
For piglets spray the floor before
putting down straw and for pigs pour through the slatted floor.
Helps to prevent flies

BioAktiv also reduces Ammonia in Stalls and Pig houses and
improves fluidity of slurrywhen sprayed on the straw, slats or area at the rate
of
2 - 3gr. per animal week or similar period as appropriate ,
piglets, fattening pigs and sows
4 - 5 gr. per animal young cattle cows and steers
Tests made at the Animal Research centre, Sachsen- Anhalt
Germany
First use on Sept 1994 in house 4 with approx 600 pigs
almost ready for slaughter
